The Position

The Account Supervisor will manage all aspects of their client relationships. This includes developing and prioritizing creative projects; oversight of client projects/timelines/deliverables across all internal departments; managing external vendors, facilitating internal and external communications; managing deadlines; budget forecasting; cost estimating; generating billing reports, and approving monthly billing.

  • Leads the development of the marketing activities in accordance with client’s objectives and budget limitations
  • Drives the development of the agency’s recommendations for the advertising / campaign to be used and the creative approach to be taken
  • Initiates planning that will lead to execution of advertising activities for clients
  • Collaborates with strategy, creative, media, production, and research teams to ensure client objectives are clearly understood and delivered on time and on budget
  • Actively manages account activities, resources, and budgets daily
  • Supervises Account Executives in their direct responsibility for the development of advertising with approved plans and analysis and other evaluations
  • Writes strategies for specific programs and the overall brand
  • Acquires thorough knowledge of client’s business so that marketing and advertising problems and opportunities may be anticipated.


Responsibilities

  • Serving as the client liaison in all matters related to managing the account to establish client trust and earn customer retention:
    • Leading professional, organized and thoughtful client meetings to further instill confidence and trust with the customer
    • Managing all financial aspects related to managing a client budget, financial tracking, profitability, invoicing and risk management
    • Providing accurate and timely information to the customer through all communications; conference reports, status sheets, budget trackers, creative briefs, creative presentations and campaign wrap reports
  • Serve as the internal liaison for creative teams, providing accurate and timely information to establish trust and value creative with team members, including:
    • Providing accurate and timely documents essential to the success of a campaign, including; estimates/budgets, creative briefs, creative kick-off materials, creative requests, and change requests.
    • Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget
    • Coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including accounts, traffic, creative and management, to meet the performance objections and expectations of the customer
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding the sales process including discovery meetings, tracking of opportunities in CRM, estimating, and proposal/SOW development.

You Have

At least a year or two of experience as an account executive at an advertising agency, public relations firm or related digital agency. You’re off to a great start in your career and you love the business. Now you’re ready to move on to new opportunities on the fast track.
